… It's not. I believe I brought up the same subject a few years ago but nothing was done about it. Once someone signs up for a tournament, he should be obligated to stay in it until the bitter end. |

... I'd prefer them to drop out than take ten weeks to play three tournament matches. |

Tournament play The same thing just happened to me with a bit of a twist in the 197th tourney round 3 in group 2. There was one game remaining to finish when one player who had a 60 pip lead suddenly resigned the game giving a win to his opponent. The net effect of this was to prevent me from instead being in a tie with said opponent and advancing to the final round. Does this happen often? Why would a player who is winning a tournament game resign like that? If he no longer interested in playing why not just withdraw? I can't prove any collusion between the two but it looks pretty suspicious on the surface. In the end it's just a game but what poor sportsmanship. Is there any means to file a complaint with Zoo Escape? |

Are you sure it was resigned and not timed out? It is a bit suspicious. |

Tournament play Yes the player who resigned had actually just started bearing off as well. This player has concurrent other games being played normally. |
