 Ladder Opponents Why does the available opponents appear below me on the Backgammon Ladder? Maybe one a day appears above me. I can't find enough opponents. Any suggestions? dearukulele |

Yes - it's a problem Especially in the middle part of the ladder.... most players set a maximum number of games and keep the quote filled with players above them so it's hard to find opponents. Your best bet is to play a lot of games - including against lower ranked opponents, and hope they leap-frog you with some of their other games. You'll just have to regularly check in to find higher ranked opponents to play against. I made a suggestion to the ZE staff that they should change the rules so that anyone who doesn't have a higher ranked opponent to play should be allowed to challenge someone above them regardless of how many games that opponent has playing.... I was ignored! |
