Time Per Move In my opinion, when a player starts a new game, the limit of time per move should be up to THREE days. It is silly to set up 5, 7, 10, or even 14 days (Two moves every month and the game may end in more than one year if you pick 14 days!). If you cannot play when it is your turn, you can click "Postpone all games" and set up on number of days you cannot play.... That should be enough. I usually accept to play with anyone if he/she set up three days or less, not 7, 10 or 14 days..... It is just a suggestion for the Zoo Escape staff. Looking forward to the first tourney! Have fun! |

long games! 14 days is rather a long time. You could go on holiday, read several books on backgammon strategy and still have time for a cup of tea between moves. |

3 days Steelerhead - same. I hardly ever accept games over 3 days. |

Time Per Move I enjoy the flexibility of your set up but I generally appreciate the faster time limit, good work zoo escape staff!! |

Re: Time Per Move While most players do prefer 3 days per turn or less, some players have work or personal schedules that prevent them from playing that often. A player can choose to 'postpone all games', but there are limits to using that feature. So we choose the options we felt would fit the needs of many players |

Time per move Apropos this, I agree about the longer games but do sometimes accept. I cannot however accept less than three days because I do not have internet access at weekends. Just a thing to bear in mind when you set up challenges, Oh and btw. even at a 14 day limit, I have never seen anyone take all that time. |

Time per move If it were possible to see the average time per move on a player's stats, that would be helpful. I prefer playing someone that moves a bunch of times each day and would accept an offer with a 7 or 14 day limit from them. However, its unlikely that I'd accept an offer from someone that moves once every few days. Then again, when you have 70 games going, a few slow ones don't get noticed that much Join and support the site! |
