Throw execution I know this is an online game and that there are compromises made to make the game play as real as possible, but... when you go to play a turn, and even in cube games where you have to click the Roll button, the dice are already known. As though the dice have been thrown for you by the system when your opponent clicks the Submit button. And that is what I am getting at, it isn't me throwing my dice when I want to. My dice are actually being thrown by an action of my opponent's. Or do I misunderstand how it actually works? And is it a concern? |

… Imagine playing a game in person and the other guy throwing your dice and you throwing his. It goes against the grain, is all I'm sayin'. |

Recommendation Go to your preference setting There is a button for auto dice roll Click off Save Determine if that resolves your issues |

… I don't think that's what TeddiBear was referring to - not forced vs. unforced turns. It is not an "issue" per se. This has more to do as to how the software for this game is written. |

fixing a typo... Even with auto-roll turned off, the question remains, when is the dice throw executed to determine values? 1. When my opponent completes his/her turn? 2. When I open the web page for the first time in a non-cube game (or when I click the Roll button in a cube game)? |

… its determines when you press the roll button..or when you open that webpage the first time. it may appear otherwise but there is no "these are the next 30 rolls for this game" type of tables going on in the background.. no matter what it seems. there are 100's if not 1000's of simultaneous randomly triggered dice rolls going on at the same time... when that happens and with only 6 possibilities per die exist, it will seem non random, but it is random. programming wise it would take more time to prepoulate a list of dice rolls then it would to randomly generate it. designers of zooescape arent going to waste the time to make a prepoulated table that has to look random when they can just.. you know.. make it random |

Neither you or your opponent actually throws the dice... ...they are thrown by a computer that generates the numbers randomly. If you and an opponent threw the dice 'live' 100 times vs. the ZE computer 'throwing' the dice for each of you 100 times, the numbers thrown (and their frequencies) for both you and your opponent would be statistically the same as the computer. This issue has been discussed in a previous thread. |
