Let's try the opposite I had games recently during bearing off I had six 12 rolls in a row and in one game against grab68 I had an anchor on 5 and had 17 throws (34 total dice) without throwing a 5. I think that might be close to winning lotto odds. |

astronomical odds Not being a particularly gifted mathematician, whilst I can calculate odds without too much difficulty, I can't explain why such unlikely events as six consecutive 66 rolls (at odds of around 2 billion to 1) occur as often as they do around here. Astronomically unlikely events occur all around us every single day though, outside of the world of backgammon... |
