The shootout

Each captain will pick one player (they may pick themselves) and the two players will play 3 games of backgammon to see whether Canada1 or CIS will be our NT4 champions.

I have asked both captains to submit their picks in this forum.

may be?..

What if we choose player from Canada and the same you choose from our team?

may be?...

That might be demeaning. It would mean you're picking who you think is the weakest player. It's an interesting idea though, and has merit.

Thank you for the three games. Just to clarify, that would be called a 2 pt match (first to two.)

Wow. I'm still speechless. Great final match.

Not so fast!

Good one, Maidann, but it doesn't work that way!
So... who's your player?

why not? ...

i actually like the idea of maidann. it does have merit.
but, let the captains and organizers decide on this.

much more difficult to choose a player of own team than (correctly, the most unstable) from another team

Choosing

One key I think is that Captains must send their choice to yiannakos privately I think. The second team would have an advantage, as they could pick the player who would compete better against the first team's choice.
