It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for vacation mode. I'm playing only 5 games to try to get to the top in under 100 and it is essentially 4 active games now because one guy has 8 days to make a move. Grrrr!

There ought to be a rule that if you go into vacation mode you automatically forfeit all ladder games.

Unfortunately, I've been resigned from the ladder because I timed out on more than 3 games (on my alternate ego, beanni)  

Got way too many games going on at the mo', so I'll take a break and have another go in the not too distant future.

I've resigned from both the back and nack ladders - I'll see if i can get to the top on both.... I was recently no.1 on both at same time.... But it took about 300 games

I'll join Wally and any others in relaxing around the bottom for awhile! probably take a few days to end current ladder games. I do have some books that I can read along the way.

HAH! Good luck with that. The guys below 100 ladder ranking barely move - so if you are planning to take the "fewest games" route, it will take you a LONG time.. or never, to get to the top.

I restarted the backgammon ladder 6 days ago. Going for speed not games. Up from 429 to 322. Not a lot happening down here. Very hard to find someone above to challenge. Hopefully it gets better the more I move up.

Just completed the challenge

From bottom to top in 86 games and it took 25 days.

Two new records.

Really happy with that.
