This thread has T4, T5 and now T6 messages. Anybody interested will find these things if they look at the forum from time to time, and for those who tend to lose interest we might be better off without them anyway, for speed of play.

Just played David Cool and won 6-1 although a bit of a bitter victory as I couldn't challenge him due to his challenge criteria and when he challenged me it was with unrated games. When I questioned him, he said it was because he would lose 9 points for every game he lost and would only win 1 for every game he won.

Goes against the spirit somewhat. I thought this was meant to be for fun.

I never played an unrated game before, but as I do have no time to play in the moment I just wanted to finish the games quick. So I do think it is ok to play unrated games. whenever someone with a low amount of points wants to play with me a 16 cube game, just invite me and I will play with you

How is playing an unrated game any quicker than playing a normal one? I will quite happily play you for a 16 point game but can't challenge you due to your challenge criteria.

If it was not for David AJ would not hv gone past 1st round as he was very late...took around 2.5 weeks to complete..David was next opponent he did not complain so if he challenged unrated games i reckon both are even now.  
As match is finished so lets put it behind and carry on

AJ i will advice u to not play such games with David, he will drain ur points But if u wanna try ur luck then best wishes from my side

So what will we do in the future when a player only wants to play unrated games? It will probably happen again somewhere.

In a tournament it doesn't really matter, since you are playing for the wins, not so much the points. Individual play is usually for the points. So you can choose to play unrated games, or not accept.. Or you can agree to play with cube turned to get equal point differential. Or, play the point differential that ZE has established. So, there are several options. Just understand and agree with your opponent which one you would prefer before you start.
