Updated Webpage Good job. Looking good. Couple of ideas (mostly very trivial): I'm assuming you would not be keen to be the only one to do updates, or run competitions so how would it work for others to update or run tourneys. If others update their own table/spreadsheet and forward it to you is it as simple as you dropping it into the website? Is that time consuming for you especially if 2 or 3 tournaments are running simultaneously? It would also involve emails or access to the website account to update pages. Do we go beyond being a group of players hiding behind alias's or start sharing emails. Is a private facebook group an option or similar type of site to aid communication etc, not that I'm on facebook anymore but just thinking out aloud. I like the idea of time updated but from my perspective, New Zealander living in Australia and I'm guessing anyone in Europe etc EST USA has little or no meaning and although I could look up the time difference and convert it's not natural, yet usingGreenwich (GMT) I know for many countries and can relate to my own time instantly. ie GMT +10 It's also the global reference point for time differences . How easy is it to drop in a nice backgammon board image behind the results graph etc To be successful in the long run assuming people want to keep these targeted tournaments going and it all seems positive at the moment we need the workload to be shared so one or two are not burdened with it all but we don't want to have to reinvent the wheel each time someone has a new idea so your website is great providing others can do the work involved for each tournament or share it between several. |

Updated Webpage To answer Kumara's comments. When we were starting our tournaments we made a determination to try different formats and have different hosts for each and every one of them. R4zz is doing a great job with CT #2, but I'm sure there will be other players who have other ideas and would want to try other formats (I remember sideshowbob expressed interest in hosting the tournament and there might be others). It would be nice to have a web site dedicated to results posting like R4zz's though. Maybe he would be kind enough to give future hosts access/admin rights or whatever to do this kind of thing. But even if that's not possible I'm sure new hosts will find a way to update the participants on the tourney status. |

remaining games I have tracked down all my blanks..Zulu Warrior actually won, posted above, and I will challenge the other five players that I have not posted results for just above. Only other issue is padajp. Is he really in the tournament? I haven't played a game against him this year yet...seems to me he had his challenge criteria set to something insurmountable. |
