Hmm, let me politely disagree on "making the rules as we go" so to speak.

Here's what's written on the NT website:
"Draws
Should any knockout game (including the final) end in a draw, last year's rules apply:
Each team picks one player and we have a one-on-one deciding game. "

Clearly it says one deciding game.
Now, some teams used best-of-three in the past and I offered my opponent exactly that, however she said she was instructed (by her teammates I assume) to play only one deciding game and I agreed to that proposal.

Dear friends,

If we all look at page 15 of this tread, there we can read that the quarter final between CIS and Iran2 team ended in a draw and that the captain of the Iran 2 proposes to play a play-off of two out of three games, to which the captain of the CIS team agrees. So now I wonder, who started bending the rules, as I am of course not aware of the direct instructions sent to these captains by our dear host.

Friends, we are in big muddle and I do not wish, that my team has to undergo any negative consequences as obviously nobody was really aware of the rules on the NT website
