As I play my games within this tournament I wonder who it is I'm playing. I imagine an eclectic mix of people of all ages and races, a mix of male and female opponents form a variety of different countries and cultures working in interesting occupations or living life to the full. Then I ponder if the reality is a bunch of middle aged male mathematics teachers with too much spare time.
One thing I have noticed is that they all enjoy the game and play in a positive and friendly spirit so thank you all regardless of who you are.

For the record I am a 43 year old male Mathematics Teacher from New Zealand living in Australia (it's warmer), BUT I do spend as much time kayaking and mountain biking as I can.
