if you just check in the backgammon forum list it's pretty obvious which one is the tourney thread .. it says ::: "Thread 3 -- Backgammon Champion Tournament #2" .. even if it wasn't really clear in the thread topic, there's only 2-3 threads with any kind of continuous discussion at any point in these forums.. should have been easy enough to find.

I see. Might be easy to you but I had difficulty. I used the search bar below for the forums and nothing came up. I see now that there is a forum link below. I sent notes to two individuals, Both have quit and I didn't know?!?! What's the odds of that. It's easy to assume people know what to do when they might not. Just as the Crawford Rule & the Dead Cube rule showed.

that's understandable.. and yeah the departures happened on the quick and thankfully we had kumara step up and get everything rehosted quick.

long story short.. drama ..emotions ...drama over...

getting into it anymore then that isnt necessary anymore.. we all just want to continue enjoying this challenging little tourney of ours.

I have been doing a bad job about keeping up with the threads, so I missed all the drama earlier. Just want to make sure to give a huge thanks to KumaraKid for stepping in and keeping everything running smoothly. And thanks to r4 for setting up the tournament, I've been having a lot of fun.

Just a thought, since things have slowed down. What does everyone think about maybe starting TC#3 once the top 8 in TC#2 start their playoff? That ensures #'s 9-23 some tournament games and no down time. Maybe keep everyone occupied at the same time? Really, the top 8 are only going to be playing 1 extra tournament match at that time.

Can anyone tell I like this format much better than the ladder??

I do like the idea of having some kind of standard to be able to play in the tournament such as former ladder champions as well as I think someone had the idea for ZE tournament champions being eligible as well.
