This is explained on the NT5 site http://zooescapetournaments.my-free.website/ under "points awarded" but I'll repeat it here:

A match (between teams) consists of 16 games (4 players x 4 players).
The winning team is the one which in a match wins the most games e.g. 9-7 or 10-6 or 11-5 etc.

Two points are awarded to a team for winning a match and one for a draw (8-8). The two top teams (most points) within a group advance into the next round.

The abbreviations of the standings, on the site, are: TW = team wins, TD = team draws, TL = team losses. Also displayed are the individual games won, since they will have a bearing should two teams finish even on points: GF = games for, GA = games against.

Once again, it's the points that primarily determine which teams, within a group, advance.
