I had a plan for a quick knockout tourney last year

Then I read on the forum that the holidays are coming so I did not start it...

as things are proceeding i don't think we will start T6 before March
we have not found our Host yet  


So if u guys allow I can host a unique and quick Tourney in that interval  
all NEW things will be revealed in specific forum

I would love to host a tournament, but already pushing the time I spend on here... babies and backgammon addictions don't mix

I am stuck upon TIME LIMIT for each Round    
Victory point..Best of 3(without cube) or usual 5 points(will all cube rules)    


So guys need ur help...pz share ur feedback
just keep in min its purpose is the QUICKEST & SHORTEST

Im in great idea. quickest possible time limit would be great. i do like the cube but either way is ok.

2 out of 3 games would be a good trial for the first time. Those committing could play 2-3 games at one sitting to keep it moving. Perhaps quarter finals and semis could be 3 out of 5 and finals with cube to 7.

to Ahmed: I don't think there's a need for "Awards" - let's just play a quick tournament.
Knockout is the best solution, it will be fast and straightforward. I'm against using the cube, but don't really care. No more than 3 games in round 1, could be best-of-5 from round 2 on.
