@Team placement

Yes, Annamarina, I'm sure.
Kev was in the team last year and should stay, if you have room.
I'm happy to join any team. It will be fun to be a mercenary, a paid gun, for the first time ever (even though there is no payment available).
Play well and enjoy the tournament.

@teamplacement

Well, you are definitely far more worth than a mercenary !
I believe everybody needs a place where he or she belongs!

Dear HOST, can a deadline be set???

Super annoying and pointless chatter ...
One month (first announce was on 13July) is not enough to form the teams   .... how to expect a fast tournament  .
Im not sorry about my sharp words. This is reality.

Fair comment

You make a valid point my friend...and apologies for our chit chat...I hope this reality you speak of is in the forefront of all involved when we finally get it started   ...that's not directed at you esprit...i played you last year and you are one of the best when it comes to moving a game along..let's all move the games along as fast as possible

Yes, deadline please

I agree that a deadline may help to move things forward. However, the chatter is only pointless for those with a settled team. Please remember that I haven't played this tournament before and I can't just force myself upon a team. I either need @Yiannakos to confirm my acceptance of his offer, or the captain of a 3-player team to accept me and any other free players. I, more than anyone, hope this will be over soon.

Rules

@Ricetta - I just noticed that the Rules section refers to 20 teams, which is probably left from one of the prior tournaments. I think it needs an update to reflect the current setting of 16 teams and avoid any confusion for the new players.

I was also wondering - what was the criteria on how the teams are divided into groups? I didn’t find anything in the rules about it. As an example, we used the rating snapshot to make it more or less even in our first BBL tournament that just finished.

Good luck to all in NT9!
