resignation an issue .. further!?

QUOTING post above, by Mr_SOak: "The backgammon here is WIN/LOSE. So "Are you sure?" should be sufficient. In tournament play, the one resigned to can decline a straight resignation and demand a resign-gammon or back-gammon, or instead, the resumption of play. This seldom occurs, of course. The doubling cube tends to end lopsided games and adds considerable spice to nail-biters! I'll address the doubles-cube in a separate post." UNQUOTE.

i think; the one declining should understand [what it is] in fact, she\he IS declining!! ~

if ZooEscape, mean: for the decliner who is at the stage of losing a gammon [ and by extension a backgammon] to his opponent: - to lose 'gammon marks..' then, i think that it should be; "explained / noted," on the game page, [or somewhere!] afterall, [..at the present..], it CANNOT be "ASSUMED" by one!

at the moment [... here at ZooEscape]"a result," is arrived-at : 'a fortiori.'/'a posteriori' i.e. one finds-out "after one is marked!?"

in addition,

in ZooEscape's Backgammon descriptions it says, i QUOTE: "If a player's turn is not made within the designated time period, they forfeit the Backgammon game." UNQUOTE.

!? does that mean: that she\he loses the backgammon game's marks, itself .. i.e. NOT gammon marks [..but backgammon marks ..]?

i cannot find it written anywhere ..!.?.

ditto: presently, i am an unsubscribed member. mohammed

Re: resignation an issue

We hope that the answers to your questions lie in FAQ. We also have a link to this FAQ in the confirmation message when the player resigns a game, among other places. Generally, we provide a link to a FAQ explaining a particular term via the question mark icon next to the term.
